Germany Reaffirms Strong Support for RACVIAC
On October 28,2025,RACVIAC welcomed German Ambassador H.E. Prof. Dr. Pascal Hector and Defense Attaché LtC Burkhard Weber for a visit focused on strengthening their enduring partnership.
RACVIAC Director ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie and his team hosted the delegation, beginning with a meeting to discuss RACVIACS mission, current programs, and role in regional security. ambassador Grigorie expressed deep gratitude for Germany’s long-standing support,recognizing the nation as a founding pillar of the Center.
Germany’s commitment extends beyond financial contributions, encompassing consistent provision of personnel, expertise, and strategic guidance. Ambassador Grigorie emphasized Germany’s decisive role in shaping RACVIAC into a respected regional platform, noting the secondment of key experts to positions including Deputy Director, Program Manager, and Chiefs of Logistics and Administration & Finance. He also highlighted General Hans Hübner as the first Chairman of the Multinational Advisory Group (MAG). Germany continues to actively support RACVIAC, particularly through expert lecturers and contributions to Arms Control – a field where German excellence is highly valued.
The strong partnership between RACVIAC and the German Verification Centre (BwVC) was also highlighted,with BwVC scheduled to participate in the upcoming Arms Control Symposium.
Ambassador Hector reaffirmed Germany’s dedication to supporting RACVIAC’s mission and joint endeavors. both sides concluded by expressing gratitude for their shared history and a renewed commitment to deepening their strategic partnership.
