“onyl Murders in the Building” to Investigate a London Mystery in Season 6
Hulu has renewed “Only Murders in the building” for a sixth season, with the hit comedy-mystery series relocating its inquiry across the atlantic to London.The proclamation came shortly after the Season 5 finale began streaming on the platform.
The beloved trio - Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) – will leave New York City to unravel a new whodunnit in the UK capital. While the streamer has not confirmed the return of other cast members, the Season 5 finale heavily featured recurring guest star Tina Fey, suggesting a continued role.
Season 5 concluded with a cliffhanger involving Cinda Canning (Tina Fey), whose new true-crime podcast, “The Girl With the Curls,” focused on a murder case in London. The finale revealed the victim of the podcast’s central mystery was, actually, Cinda Canning herself.
Hulu has not yet announced a release date for Season 6. Further details, including casting announcements, are expected to be released in the coming months.
