Title: Jacksonville Shootings: 4 Injured, 1 Critically in 12-Hour Span

Jacksonville police are ​investigating three separate shootings that occurred ‍over the⁣ weekend, leaving four people injured, one critically. the incidents took place between Friday evening and early Sunday morning across multiple neighborhoods.

The Jacksonville SheriffS Office (JSO) responded to the first shooting at approximately 5:58 p.m. on friday. ‍Investigators ⁤said⁤ the suspect sped away in a white SUV, which was later found abandoned nearby. Officers recovered​ approximately eight shell casings from the scene, and the victim is in stable ⁤condition. Less then 90 minutes later,at 6:48 p.m.,officers responded to another shooting on Evergreen Avenue in⁢ the Phoenix neighborhood. the ⁢victim, who sustained a gunshot‌ wound⁤ to his right leg, told police he was walking‍ when he heard a loud pop and realized⁤ he had been⁢ shot. JSO said they⁤ were unable to locate a crime scene, and the victim was transported ⁢to a local hospital in stable⁢ condition.

The⁢ most serious incident occurred early Sunday morning outside a bar on Edgewood Avenue South.According⁢ to JSO, officers responded around‍ 3:40 a.m. to ‍find a man in⁣ his 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. ​He was rushed to an area ‍hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second victim, also in his 30s, later transported himself to a ‍hospital and was⁣ reported in stable condition. Investigators said a large crowd​ had gathered in the ⁢parking lot after the bar’s⁣ closing‌ when an⁣ altercation led to the shooting. Law ‌enforcement said ⁣the crowd dispersed promptly after the incident, leaving police ⁤without⁢ witnesses.
