WWE Star Andrade El Idolo Denies Allegations of Criminal Involvement
Professional wrestler Andrade El Idolo swiftly refuted unsubstantiated claims linking him to criminal organizations on October 21, 2025. the allegations surfaced on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) from user Ant (@vagoni256), who posted a message questioning whether Andrade might be “involved in some Mexican cartel business or nationwide crime scheme.”
Andrade responded directly to the post, writing, “What?? Tranquilo amigo!!” and followed with a plea for an end to the speculation: “Will everyone please stop making things up?!”
The incident occurs amidst professional uncertainty for andrade. He recently made a surprise appearance on the October 1, 2025, sixth-anniversary episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega and aligning himself with the Don Callis Family.
However, Andrade’s return to AEW was short-lived. Reports indicate he was removed from AEW television and creative plans on October 16, following a cease-and-desist letter sent by WWE. The letter reportedly alleges Andrade’s AEW appearance violated a non-compete clause stemming from his WWE termination, possibly preventing him from wrestling for up to a year, according to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.
