New Edition Tour: Braxton & Boyz II Men Join Forces

New Edition,Boyz II Men,and Toni Braxton Announce 30-City Tour Launching in 2026

BOSTON – R&B icons New Edition,Boyz II men,and Grammy-winning vocalist Toni Braxton⁢ have announced a 30-city tour‍ slated to kick off in 2026.The collaboration marks the first time New Edition and Boyz II Men⁢ will tour​ together, facilitated⁣ by Michael Bivins.

The‌ tour, titled “The New edition Way,” celebrates the legacy of New Edition, recently honored by the city of Boston with the renaming‍ of a street in their name. According to⁤ a news release, the distinction “cements their legacy as pioneers who transformed R&B, birthed superstars, and ​built a blueprint for generations to follow.” New Edition has sold more then 50 million albums and boasts hits including ‍ Candy Girl, Cool It Now, mr. Telephone Man, and If It Isn’t⁤ Love.

Joining them is Boyz II Men, the ​best-selling R&B group of all time with over 64 million albums sold and four Grammy Awards. Their signature⁢ songs include End of the⁢ Road, I’ll Make Love to You, and One⁤ Sweet Day. ‌ Performers will‍ include Nathan Morris,Shawn Stockman,and Wanya Norris.

Rounding out the powerhouse lineup is Toni Braxton, a seven-time grammy Award winner who has sold more ‌than 70 million records worldwide. Braxton is known for her hits Un-Break ‍My Heart, Breathe Again, and You’re Makin’ Me High. She also appeared in the second season of​ The braxtons.

“You’re seeing artists who’ve shaped the culture come together⁢ to celebrate music that continues ⁤to stand ‌the test of time,”​ said Gary Guidry, CEO of‌ the Black Promoters‌ Collective. ⁤Shelby ‍Joyner, president ‍of ⁢BPC,⁢ added, “This tour represents the spirit of collaboration, excellence, and respect for ⁣pristine artistry.”

In a video announcement on⁤ Instagram, New Edition members Bobby brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell, Michael ⁢Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, ​and Johnny Gill extended a FaceTime call to Boyz‌ II Men,⁣ expressing⁣ their desire to “go to ⁣the⁣ next level” after their ‌Las Vegas residency.⁤ Braxton echoed the sentiment⁢ on Instagram, stating, “Y’all ⁢already know I’m the honorary seventh member of @newedition. So it’s only right that we hit the road together.”

The artists envision a unique performance experience, ‍stating, “Here’s the vision: all three of us ⁢on the same stage every⁣ night, not taking ⁤turns, actually performing together… ⁢an original music experience.”

Collectively, the⁣ groups have sold nearly ⁤185 million albums. Ticket prices⁣ will ‌be‌ announced when sales begin, available through Ticketmaster, ⁤participating venue box offices, American Express, New Edition, Spotify and BPC.
