Tate’s obituary remembers her as “an energetic fighter” who ”never made excuses for the fact that she had a disability compared to others.” She was also a passionate musician,dedicating important time to writing,recording,and even publishing her own songs with friends.
hunter McVey, a colleague from 9-1-1: Nashville, shared his shock with People magazine.”I didn’t know Isabelle before shooting, but I couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with on one of my very first days on set,” McVey stated.

In 2022, Tate publicly discussed her battle with a progressive neuromuscular disease, diagnosed when she was thirteen years old. The condition led to her reliance on a wheelchair. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “This has been a difficult journey for me as it has been extremely difficult to accept help and surrender to the progression of this condition.”
