NEW YORK – Oprah Winfrey turned heads at the American Ballet Theatre’s 2025 fall Gala on Wednesday, displaying a noticeably slender figure following her publicly discussed weight loss journey utilizing Ozempic. The media mogul adn philanthropist, 71, showcased a cinched waistline in a striking ensemble at the event held at the Century Plaza Hotel.
the gala celebrated Misty Copeland’s upcoming retirement from American Ballet Theatre after a remarkable career, and drew a constellation of stars from entertainment, dance, and the arts. Winfrey’s appearance sparked conversation alongside those of other prominent attendees including her best friend, Gayle King, 70, who wore a black velvet gown with a silver clutch; model Iman, 70, in a pale blue floral gown; and Gray’s Anatomy star debbie Allen, 75, and phylicia Rashad, 77, both in black gowns.

Copeland, who took a five-year hiatus from the stage, will perform with her American Ballet Theatre peers for the last time during Wednesday’s program. The event also featured performances by Copeland and ABT dancers, as well as appearances by luminaries from various fields.
