Lincoln, Neb. – the University of Nebraska athletic department unveiled the 2026 schedule for it’s women’s gymnastics team today, outlining a competitive slate featuring seven home meets at the bob Devaney Sports Center and several key Big ten conference matchups.
The Huskers will kick off the season hosting the ameritas Masters Classic on January 10 at 3 p.m. (CT). The schedule includes contests against conference rivals Minnesota, Ohio State, Iowa, Illinois, and Maryland, culminating in a multi-team competition at the Big Four meet in State College, Pennsylvania, and road meets at Texas Woman’s University and North Carolina. This schedule builds upon a program boasting 13 returning athletes, including Second-Team All-Big Ten member Whitney Jencks, and welcomes seven incoming freshmen: Ahnna Kalmes, Karys Griffin, Hailee Bowen, Merideth Brandt, Aubrey Gilliland, Peyton Pech, and tegan Shaver.
