lima, Peru – Franklin Templeton Investments plans ⁢to introduce additional Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to the Peruvian market next⁤ year, building ⁢on ⁢its recent‍ expansion from 8⁣ to⁢ 18 ETF products. The firm is ‍carefully evaluating investment flows to determine the ⁢timing and scope ⁤of future approvals, according to Sergio Guerrien, Director ⁢& Country‍ Manager South ⁣America for Franklin Templeton.

While the⁤ ETF ⁢market in Peru ⁤remains relatively small,Franklin ⁣templeton sees notable opportunity in providing Peruvian investors‌ access to⁢ US ⁢markets, particularly within ⁢the technology sector. ⁣Guerrien noted that ⁢”not investing in the ⁤United States…means in some way ⁢not investing in technology,” ‍referencing the⁢ performance ⁢of major ⁤US tech companies. However, he also highlighted ⁤undervalued‌ sectors within the US market, ⁤such as healthcare, as potential investment avenues.
