Frank Buschmann, a well-known German sports commentator, is returning to television to cover NBA games for Sky sport. Buschmann, who previously commentated on all nine German games during their successful run to the 2022 European Championship title for *RTL*, will bring his expertise to the broadcasts.
Sky sport has acquired the NBA rights from NBCUniversal, extending coverage to other European markets including the UK, Ireland, and Italy. Buschmann’s return is expected to generate excitement among basketball fans, particularly given the recent international success of german basketball players, including Isaiah Hartenstein, who won a championship with Oklahoma City in June.
Buschmann’s commentary will focus on the performances of German players in the NBA. He was most recently at the European Basketball Championships in Tampere,Finland,and Riga,Latvia. (tb)
