## Aaron Phypers, Ex-Husband of Denise Richards, Arrested on Spousal Abuse Charges
Aaron Phypers, teh former husband of actress Denise Richards, was taken into custody in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday, October 17th, following the issuance of a felony warrant. According to reports from Fox News Digital, the arrest occurred during a court hearing related to Richards’ pursuit of a permanent restraining order against phypers.
A criminal complaint filed Wednesday at the Van Nuys courthouse details the charges against Phypers, as reported by People Magazine.He faces two counts of injuring a spouse or cohabitant, and two counts of dissuading a witness through force or threat. Court documents indicate the alleged incidents occurred on January 17, 2022, and May 3, 2022.
The arrest follows Phypers filing for divorce in July.Richards was previously granted a temporary restraining order following allegations of physical and emotional abuse throughout their marriage, including an alleged incident coinciding with the divorce filing.
During a recent hearing, richards testified that she sustained at least three concussions during the course of their marriage, People Magazine reported. She also alleged that Phypers attempted to damage her reputation post-breakup by stealing her laptop and disseminating private information, including nude photos, as detailed by Fox News Digital.
Phypers, in a statement to People Magazine, denies the allegations, claiming they are false and intended to harm his reputation and deflect from the truth.
