The⁣ City of Mobile is⁤ continuing its commitment to accessible justice by partnering with the nonprofit Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) to host a ⁤free Warrant Clinic on November 7th. This initiative provides​ a crucial service to ​residents facing​ outstanding ‍warrants for traffic-related offenses.

A Fourth Chance to Clear Traffic Violations

This marks⁣ the ⁣fourth in a series​ of clinics designed to ⁢offer a straightforward path to resolving municipal⁢ court warrants. The city of Mobile legal Department and the ‍Mobile‍ Municipal Court are leading the effort,building on the success of previous events facilitated by ⁣GRAE. GRAE has a proven track record of ‌assisting communities nationwide, and their previous three clinics in Mobile have ⁤already helped ⁢hundreds of individuals‌ address‍ minor traffic violations.

Removing Barriers ​to Justice

A core principle of this clinic is to create a welcoming and non-intimidating environment. Individuals with active traffic warrants in mobile Municipal Court can resolve their cases quickly and without the anxiety of potential⁢ arrest. To further ease concerns,municipal judges ‍and court‌ officers will be​ present in plain clothes,and there is no ​dress ⁤code for participants.

Family-Amiable Event with Support Services

the November 7th Warrant clinic will be held from 11:00 AM ⁤to 3:00 PM at the Springhill Recreation Center. Recognizing that legal matters⁢ can be challenging, the event ​is designed ⁢to be family-friendly. Children and family members are welcome,and⁣ attendees can enjoy ‌family entertainment,childcare services,food,and access to other valuable community resources.
