ORANGE COUNTY, fla. – A deceased individual was discovered near Walt Disney World on Tuesday evening, prompting a response from the Orange County Sheriff‘s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office received a report of the death at approximately 6:40 p.m. along North World Drive, a roadway that runs adjacent to Magic kingdom, the Contemporary Resort, and Wilderness Lodge. Authorities have since indicated the death appears to be a suicide.
The incident drew attention on social media, with users on Reddit discussing potential impacts to guests at the Contemporary Resort.News 6 has contacted Orange County Fire Rescue, Disney officials, and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District for further details, but has not yet received a response.
