A House Restored, A Marriage Saved: “I Will Lose My Wife”
For thirteen years, Bianca and Dennis have lived with a constant weight: an unfinished house shared with their four dogs and nine cats. Despite Dennis’s willingness to tackle repairs, projects remained perpetually incomplete, leaving the home in a state of near-uninhabitability. the conditions were particularly dire in the bedroom,where a partially collapsed roof,missing windows,and pervasive black mold created a truly desolate scene. “You don’t know what you see. desolate,” Bianca described, her voice heavy with despair. The stress had taken a toll on their relationship,escalating to the point where Dennis had,in a moment of frustration,punched a hole in the bathroom door. “He can get angry if it gets too much for him,” Bianca explained.
Facing a breaking point, Bianca felt she had no choice but to leave if things didn’t change. “My health continues to deteriorate… It’s taking its toll.” Recognizing the urgency, John spoke directly with Dennis, anticipating resistance. Rather, he was met with raw emotion. Upon hearing help was on the way,Dennis broke down in tears. “My wife is just in a ruin… I just want to get it done for my wife.”

Dennis, driven by a desperate desire to save his marriage, vowed to complete the renovations. “My wife deserves this… If I live like this for a few more years, I will have nothing left. I will lose my wife and my animals,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
