ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – Insurteam MGA Ltd., a European Managing General Agent (MGA) specializing in travel insurance, has secured over €800,000 in funding and is preparing for its next funding round in the first half of 2026. The company, operating through its Irish branch, leverages artificial intelligence to automate claims management and streamline operations, allowing it to achieve rapid growth with a lean team.
Founded in April 2024 from a system integration project between a major cruise line and a leading insurance company, Insurteam reported a turnover of CHF 250,000 within its first eight months. This figure doubled in the first half of 2025, and the company forecasts revenues exceeding EUR1 million for 2025 and surpassing EUR3 million in 2026.
Insurteam integrates directly into global travel distribution platforms to deliver personalized insurance products. The company has grown from two to six employees in 18 months, serving thousands of travelers.
