Katarzyna Wajda‘s Divorce Case Scheduled for November 17th
Katarzyna Wajda, the widow of acclaimed polish film director Andrzej Wajda, is proceeding with divorce proceedings against her husband, Bartłomiej Kotschedoff. A court date has been set for November 17th of this year, according to Wioletta Iwańczuk.
The divorce marks the end of a marriage that followed a period of public mourning and transition for Wajda after her husband’s death in 2016. The case unfolds amidst ongoing public interest in Wajda’s life, recently heightened by her appearance at the premiere of the series “Thaw” on October 9th, where she was photographed holding hands with Kotschedoff. The upcoming trial will legally formalize the separation and address any associated matters.
Wajda and Kotschedoff married in 2018. The details surrounding the reasons for the divorce have not been publicly disclosed.
