Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán Serenades Cluj-Napoca Restaurant
Cluj-Napoca, Romania - A video circulating online shows Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán singing a Hungarian song at Rhedey Cafe in Cluj-Napoca’s Unirii Square on Thursday night. The footage, published on the restaurant’s Facebook page, depicts Orbán with members of his staff, enjoying dinner and participating in a lively rendition of a popular hungarian tune.
Orbán arrived in Cluj-Napoca to attend the UDMR Congress, scheduled for Friday at the Wild Hills Event Center in Jourgelie, Cluj County. The impromptu performance offers a rare glimpse into a more relaxed side of the often-reserved leader, though it arrives amid ongoing regional political discussions and Hungary‘s continued role within the European Union.
According to Cluj24, the song Orbán sang translates to “We do not leave here” in Romanian. The Prime Minister was staying at a five-star hotel in the city prior to the evening outing.
Rhedey Cafe accompanied the video with a welcoming message: “Welcome to Rhédey, Mr. Prime Minister! We look forward to you again!”
