Nikki Mackliff Honored with Prestigious Matilde Hidalgo de Procel Award
Guayaquil singer Nikki Mackliff received the Matilde Hidalgo de Procel award on Wednesday, October 8th, recognizing her significant contributions to Ecuadorian culture.
The Matilde Hidalgo de procel award, presented by Procel, celebrates women who have distinguished themselves in fields such as politics, culture, education, science, and social action. Mackliff was presented with the award by the National Assembly of Ecuador.
“Thanks to the National Assembly of Ecuador, today I received the Matilde Hidalgo de Procel award for cultural merit,” mackliff shared on Instagram, accompanied by a carousel of photos from the event.
The award ceremony was a family affair, with Mackliff joined by her wife, Ana Aguilera, a renowned makeup artist, and other loved ones. “I can only thank my family, who has always been by my side, and those who inspire me every day to continue creating and dreaming,” the singer-songwriter expressed.

Mackliff’s recent successes include winning the first season of MasterChef Celebrity Ecuador. She is now expanding her creative endeavors, joining the digital team of the popular impersonation contest I am called (Teleamazonas).
