Nagpur is set to be prominently represented at the upcoming Asian Acrobatic Championships, with three gymnasts and three officials selected for the Indian team competing in Goa from November 24th to 26th, 2023. The selection underscores Nagpur’s growing influence in the sport of acrobatic gymnastics.
The team’s participation is crucial as the championships serve as a qualifying event for the World Acrobatic Championships scheduled for 2024. The gymnasts chosen for the national team are Aryan Ambekar, Rohan Gawande, and Tanmay khapekar. Accompanying them as officials are sanjay Deshmukh, who will serve as the team manager, alongside judges Pradeep Meshram and Shweta Meshram.
