Sony Reveals DualSense Edge “Icon Blue Special Edition” and New PlayStation Merchandise
São Paulo, Brazil – October 23, 2025 – Sony Interactive Entertainment today announced a new color variant for its premium DualSense Edge wireless controller, the “Icon Blue Special Edition,” alongside a range of new merchandise celebrating PlayStation’s history and popular franchises. The limited-edition controller,inspired by the original PlayStation console,will be available starting November 9,2025.
The launch arrives as Sony continues to expand its PlayStation ecosystem beyond gaming consoles, offering fans more ways to express their passion for the brand. The DualSense Edge “Icon Blue Special Edition” features the same customizable controls and high-performance components as the original model, but wiht a striking translucent blue finish reminiscent of the iconic PlayStation console. It will retail for $199.99 USD.
Beyond the controller, Sony unveiled several new merchandise items: a PlayStation-branded shirt, Monograph Backpack Keychains featuring beloved PlayStation characters, and a mini backpack inspired by Ellie’s in-game pack from The Last of Us.
