Mayor Wilson⁤ pointed to a federal judge’s decision that previously blocked the⁢ mobilization of oregon National Guard⁣ troops, characterizing the current federal actions ‍as “unlawful and unjustified.” He called on federal leadership to adhere to the court’s ruling ⁤and halt any deployments⁣ that contradict it, reaffirming Portland’s dedication to peaceful protest and due process.
