Bra‘s Guala Institute Offers Free Evening Courses for Adults Seeking Diplomas
Bra, Italy – Adults looking to complete their education or enhance their skills have a valuable opportunity at the Guala Institute.Evening courses, established in 2017 through an agreement with the CPIA (Provincial Education center) of Alba-Mondovì, are still accepting enrollments until the end of August.
The courses are designed for both Italian and foreign citizens aiming to achieve a high school diploma – whether restarting abandoned studies or supplementing existing qualifications – and are offered free of charge as part of the state school system.
The student body is diverse in age, background, and motivation. Loris Chinnici, a 19-year-old with a three-year hairdressing qualification, shared, “Working I understood the value of the school as a place where to increase one’s personal culture; So I decided to resume my studies, but with much more determination. It is an exciting path, characterized by team spirit and friendship since we all would like to achieve a common goal, crucial for our journey of life. I understood that the school training course not only allows you to acquire knowledge, but it is indeed essential for our future aspirations.”
Patrizia Coraglia, a 46-year-old housewife and cultivator, emphasized the course’s impact, stating, “The evening is a unique experience and opportunity. It gives everyone the opportunity to open the mind and hope of a new beginning, even to women of almost fifty years.”
however, the programme demands commitment. According to Professor Andrea Sacco, head of the Braidese evening course, ”This is a precious opportunity, but which requires serious commitment. In the first class, on thirty students, thirteen were not admitted to the next one. So also for the third, of which only half of the students will access the following phase.”
