Ryu Philip Addresses Concerns Over Sister-in-Law’s Diet, Reveals Ongoing Struggles
Seoul, South Korea – singer Ryu Philip has addressed recent online speculation regarding the diet of his sister-in-law, Park Soo-ji, clarifying that she is still pursuing weight loss despite perceived setbacks and feelings of being controlled. The clarification came in a recent YouTube video posted on October 2nd, titled “I can talk about the misunderstanding of Susie’s sister and questions.”
Park Soo-ji, who previously lost 150kg with the help of Ryu Philip and his wife, Mina, has seen a reduction in the frequency of videos documenting her journey, prompting questions from followers. Ryu Philip explained that Park Soo-ji’s decision to slow down wasn’t due to failure, but rather a personal choice.
“Many people are misunderstood, but Susie’s sister can’t do it anymore as she wants to stop,” Ryu Philip stated in the video. He further emphasized that park Soo-ji’s goals weren’t focused on specific weight targets like 70kg or 60kg, and that she should not be treated as someone under their control. “Susie’s sister’s goal was to diet healthy and not healthy. It’s not our slave. I think it’s been satisfied,” he explained.
park Soo-ji herself recently shared her ongoing commitment to dieting on her personal SNS, stating, “Everyone, you have to eat when you are dieting. It’s the best thing, but it’s actually the hardest thing. I am shaking dozens of times when I go to the daily exercise every day, but I’m still here.” She also expressed a desire for support, adding, ”I want you to work together becuase I know it’s not hard alone.”
Despite past success, Park Soo-ji has reportedly experienced a 100kg “yo-yo” effect following her initial weight loss, and has expressed feeling uncomfortable with being questioned about her progress. According to Ryu Philip,Park Soo-ji stated,”‘Park Soo-ji is still on a diet,’ ”I don’t know.I don’t care at all. If I ask, it seems to be controlling Susie’s sister, and I feel that way. It’s hard to see my face.”
