Josh Allen Minimizes Stefon Diggs‘ Return to Buffalo
ORCHARD PARK,N.Y. – Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen downplayed the significance of former receiver Stefon Diggs’ return to Highmark Stadium in Week 5, stating, “We played him last year.” Diggs, now with the Houston Texans, will face his former team for the first time in Buffalo after being traded following the 2023 season.
While diggs previously played against the Bills as a Texan at NRG Stadium in 2023 – recording six catches for 82 yards in a 23-20 Houston victory – Allen anticipates no major disruption. “So, I don’t think it’s anything super crazy,” Allen said. He acknowledged potential heightened emotions for Diggs or the fans, but emphasized the Bills’ focus will remain on performance.
the Bills (4-0) face the New england Patriots (2-2) on Sunday, with a win possibly widening their lead in the AFC East. Diggs spent four years with the Bills before his departure.
