Ryan Spahn‘s Off-Broadway Hit Inspired By True Events Now Available for Licensing
New York,NY – Playwright Ryan Spahn’s darkly comedic thriller,Inspired By True Events,is expanding its reach through a licensing agreement with Concord Theatricals. The play will be published under Samuel French, making it accessible too theater companies and educational institutions nationwide.
The agreement arrives following a successful Off-Broadway premiere in 2024 with Out of the Box Theatrics,where the production uniquely staged performances in the theatre’s actual green room for an intimate audience of 40.Inspired By True Events centers on a community theatre company bracing for a second performance after a lauded opening night, only to find their leading actor arrives in a volatile state, forcing the cast to navigate chaos both onstage and off.
