Amanda Miguel Finds Solace in Grandchildren, Keeping Diego Verdaguer‘s Memory Alive
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – Two years after the passing of Argentine singer-songwriter Diego Verdaguer, his wife, Amanda Miguel, and daughter, Ana Victoria, are finding renewed joy and a lasting connection to his memory through his grandchildren.the family recently shared how the youngest generation is keeping Verdaguer’s spirit alive, offering comfort amidst their continued grief.
Verdaguer died in january 2022 due to complications from COVID-19, leaving a void in the lives of his loved ones. His daughter, Ana Victoria, recalled the family’s illness during the pandemic, beginning with her then one-month-old son, Lucca. Now, the presence of Lucca and Amanda’s other grandchildren are a source of profound healing, ensuring Verdaguer’s legacy endures.
In a 2022 interview with yordi pink, Ana Victoria expressed the pain of Verdaguer not witnessing her children grow up. “He took his first bath,he bathed him for the first time when we got home,my tenderness was,that is what hurts me the most that lucca does not have her hugs,you don’t know how my soul breaks me,” she shared. She noted her father was particularly excited to become a grandfather, having already enjoyed time with her sister Jimena’s two children.
