Federal politics live: anthony Albanese has urged ‘all parties’ to engage with donald Trump‘s Gaza plan, as teh Prime Minister concludes an 11-day trip to the US, UK, and United Arab Emirates. Albanese held talks with the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, last night, the final stop on his international tour.
The call for engagement comes as scrutiny intensifies over the former US president’s proposed peace plan,which has been criticised for lacking detail and possibly favouring Israel. Albanese’s urging reflects Australia’s commitment to a two-state solution and regional stability amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
