A wedding party in India descended into heartbreak when a groom collapsed and died of a heart attack while dancing with his bride, local media reported this week. The incident occurred during the reception in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, leaving the newly married couple’s families and friends devastated.
The groom, identified as Harishankar Yadav, 25, reportedly began feeling unwell while performing a conventional dance with his wife. He suddenly collapsed on the dance floor, and despite immediate medical attention, doctors were unable to revive him.A medical examination later confirmed he died from a heart attack.
The tragedy unfolded just hours after the couple completed their wedding ceremony.Footage circulating online shows the joyous atmosphere moments before the collapse,highlighting the sudden and shocking nature of the event.
In a separate incident, a mother in the United States is disputing a wedding venue’s refusal to refund an $18,000 deposit after her son’s unexpected death prior to his wedding. Chris Perry, 33, died in May after collapsing just before his birthday, leaving his fiancée, Kristen Seidel, seeking a refund from The cotton Room in Durham, North Carolina, were their October 11th wedding was booked.
