Title: CSKA Football: Analyst Martin Stoyanov Released

CSKA Sofia ‌analyst Martin Stoyanov has‌ been ​released from ⁤his position⁤ with the first team, effective April 29, ⁢2025, according to reports from Telegraph Match. The decision was made by ⁣CSKA manager Hristo ​Yanev.

Stoyanov arrived at CSKA alongside recently dismissed‍ Dusan Kerkez, and his ⁣departure marks a shift in analytical responsibilities within the ​club.Yanev stated that the team’s headquarters will now ‌handle ‌analysis duties. However, Stoyanov will remain with CSKA, ​transitioning to‌ a role within the club’s academy.

Stoyanov’s‍ career includes ⁣a long association with CSKA, beginning as a player in⁤ their school from 2002 to 2008. ‌He gained experience in the UK with Loreto College⁢ and Stockport Dainamus before returning to the CSKA school as an assistant coach in late 2020. He served as an assistant ⁤for the under-19 and under-15 teams during the 2021/22 season.

He briefly joined Alan‍ Pardew’s headquarters in April 2022, remaining until June of ⁤that year, after which he⁢ moved‍ to the Academy. In 2023, ⁢Stoyanov worked with ‌CSKA 1948​ as an analyst and ‌assistant coach, ⁤and ‌from ⁣January 2024, he was at the September School while also assisting the women’s national team. Prior to his recent return to CSKA,‍ he was ​an analyst for Botev Plovdiv‍ under Kerkez, beginning in June 2024.
