Samsung Health App Gains iFit Integration and New ‘Discover’ Tab in latest update
Samsung Galaxy users now have access to a wider range of fitness content within the samsung health app, thanks to a new update and integration with iFit. The rollout of version 6.30.5.105, currently underway globally, brings select iFit workouts directly into the app, alongside a new “Discover” tab featuring content from various health and wellness partners.
Samsung Health has long served as the central hub for health and fitness data on Galaxy devices, offering a complete overview and AI-powered insights. This update expands its functionality, transforming it into a more robust platform for accessing diverse workout experiences and personalized wellness resources. The addition of iFit, announced in July, and the new Discover tab signal Samsung’s commitment to providing a one-stop shop for users seeking to improve their health and fitness.
The iFit integration allows users to subscribe to access workouts led by certified trainers, encompassing disciplines like yoga, pilates, cardio, HIIT, and recovery. Thes workouts are available through a monthly or annual fee. Together, the new Discover tab curates health and wellness content from a selection of partners, offering users a centralized location to explore additional resources.
Currently available in select countries, the Discover tab will also provide access to personalized health information, meal plans, and products from premium partners. The update underscores Samsung’s strategy to leverage partnerships and expand the Samsung Health ecosystem beyond its core data tracking and analysis features.
