Auto Claims Adjuster – New York (Remote)

About the Role:
As an Auto Claims Adjuster,you will be responsible for thoroughly investigating and validating the details of automobile accident claims. This includes determining policy coverage, assessing liability, evaluating damages, and skillfully negotiating settlements within your authorized limits. You’ll be directly interacting with customers, providing support and guidance throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of our company’s insurance policies, industry best practices, and internal departmental structures.
* Independently investigate all facets of auto claims – coverage, liability, and damages – exercising sound judgment and discretion.
* Develop skills in reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating injury claims (basic to moderate complexity).
* Accurately identify vehicle components and assess property damage.
* Prioritize customer needs and deliver exceptional service.
* Identify potential subrogation and fraud opportunities and implement appropriate handling procedures.
* Utilize your experience to potentially advance within the company, exploring opportunities in specialized areas like Coverage, Examination, Total Loss, or Extended Handling.
Qualifications:
* Required: Current and valid new York State Auto Adjuster license.
* Preferred: 2+ years of experience in auto claims adjusting.
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $99,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
