Women’s Basketball Schedule: ECU’s 2025-26 American Conference Games

IRVING, texas – ‍ The East ⁢Carolina University women’s basketball team’s 2025-26 American Athletic ⁣Conference schedule was ⁣released Thursday by‌ the league. The Pirates will play 18‌ conference games, splitting them evenly with nine home contests​ in Minges ⁢Coliseum and nine road matchups.⁤ Game times⁢ and​ television designations will ⁣be announced at a later date.

East Carolina will ‍begin the conference⁣ portion of its​ schedule with home games ⁤against‌ UAB on December‌ 30 and Memphis on January ‍3. The team’s ⁢initial road trip takes them to North Texas on January⁢ 6 and Wichita State on January 10.

Following those contests, the⁣ Pirates will host tulsa on‍ January 13‌ and‍ Temple on January ‍17 before heading⁤ to UTSA on ‌January 20 and UAB on January 24. January concludes‌ with a home game against ⁤Wichita State on January 27.

February opens with a road game at Charlotte on February ⁤1, followed ​by a home contest against ​defending conference champion South​ Florida on ⁤February 4. Another road swing takes ECU‌ to Tulane ⁤on February 10 and⁤ Temple on February​ 14, leading into a home stand against​ Florida Atlantic on ⁢February 17 and Rice on‍ February 20.

The Pirates’ ⁤final February road game is at Memphis‍ on February 25. The team’s regular season⁣ home‌ finale⁤ is against rival Charlotte on February 28, and the regular season concludes at Tulsa on March​ 7.

The 2026 American Athletic Conference Tournament will be held March ⁢10-14⁤ at Legacy Arena⁢ at ⁢The BJCC in‌ Birmingham, Alabama. The tournament will feature a new 10-team, five-day format‌ where the top ⁣two seeds⁣ receive automatic bids to the semifinals, ‌the third ‍and fourth ‌seeds earn quarterfinal byes, and the fifth and sixth seeds receive byes into the second ​round.

East ⁤Carolina is aiming for a fourth consecutive winning season in⁤ 2025-26,having⁢ finished 17-15 last ⁢season. The team ⁤is⁤ entering ⁤its seventh season under ‍head coach Kim⁤ McNeill.
