The revelation adds another dimension to the story that began when a video of Cabot abruptly ending a hug with her then-boss, Andy Byron, during a “KissCam” segment went viral.
According to The Times of London, the Cabots were already separated adn living apart for weeks, with a “pleasant” break underway. Andrew Cabot was at the concert with his current girlfriend.
The initial video sparked speculation about a potential affair between Cabot and Byron, but sources maintain that was not the case. Cabot reportedly “doesn’t know why she stopped,” acknowledging the hug with Byron was “inappropriate” given their professional relationship. A source stated there was “nothing more than ‘a very good friendship'” between the two.
The fallout from the concert has been significant. Byron’s wife filed for divorce shortly after the event.
