Whitefish Meeting: Water, Wastewater, & Growth Policy Update

Whitefish to⁣ Discuss Key Infrastructure Updates to 2007 Growth ‌Policy

Whitefish residents will have an opportunity to weigh ​in‌ on proposed updates to the city’s growth policy,specifically focusing on water and sewer ⁤infrastructure,during a​ work session on October 1st. The meeting comes as the city re-evaluates its long-term development plans, with the current growth policy dating back to 2007.

The work session⁤ will address elements crucial to managing future development, ⁤including land use, housing,‍ infrastructure, the environment, and natural resources. A growth Policy serves as the foundation for zoning regulations and outlines the city’s vision for the ⁤future. The proposed chapter updates are now available‌ for public review.

The meeting will be​ held⁣ at ​6:00⁣ p.m. ⁢in the City Hall Arches Conference Room on the second floor of Whitefish City Hall, located at 418 ⁣E.
