The rugby semi-final’s success coincided with fluctuating ratings for other programs.While TF1’s “The 12 noon Shots” remained strong despite a 0.7-point drop, landing at 2.86 million (37.2%), France 3’s game shows experienced declines.”Questions for a Champion” fell by 3.7 points to 822,000 (8.2%), and “The Game of 1,000 Euros” dropped by 5.6 points to 723,000 (7.1%), both broadcasts suffering from direct competition with the rugby match.France 2’s ”Everyone Has a Say” also underperformed with 766,000 (7.5%) against the rugby, while “Everyone Has Their Turn” fared better with 970,000 (21.4%).
Elsewhere, France 2’s “What an Era!” attracted 915,000 viewers (19.1%), a solid performance but down from 1.08 million and 21% on September 21, 2024. Daytime programming saw ”Discovery Reports” on TF1 maintain stability with 2.48 million (26.3%), and “The Papotin Meetings” on France 2 achieved a strong score of 2.70 million (17.2%) with Valérie Lemercier as a guest. “Open Kitchen” on France 3 garnered 1.74 million (11.1%) viewers. Notably,”Everyone Wants to Take Their Place” was again deprogrammed on France 2 for a week.
