Dorian Bindels and Bertrie Wierenga Announce Upcoming Musical Collaboration
Dutch actors Dorian Bindels and Bertrie Wierenga are stepping into the music world together, announcing plans to release a single as a duo. The news comes after a busy period for the couple, who welcomed their daughter lena in November 2024 and recently became engaged.
Bindels expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “That’s a new project, it’s a new road.” while a release date for the single remains unconfirmed, the couple is prioritizing their daughter and the creative process.
“We also don’t have a date yet. As soon as the baby can walk, we make plans for the wedding,” Bindels shared, indicating that wedding preparations are currently on hold.
The couple’s relationship began five years ago on the set of the popular Dutch soap opera Good times, bad times. Bindels’ character, Daan Stern, departed the show in 2022, while Wierenga last appeared as Shanti Vending in 2024.
