Central and Western Massachusetts have the highest probability of experiencing frost, particularly in areas ⁣from northern Worcester County to the berkshires, where temperatures are‍ projected ⁤to be between 35⁢ and 37 degrees. Higher elevations within these regions are especially susceptible.

Even parts of Eastern Massachusetts, including Taunton and other low-lying areas, may‌ see patches of frost with overnight lows ⁤around 39 degrees. Temperatures are not expected to fall significantly⁢ untill after midnight and should rebound after sunrise on sunday, rising into the 50s by 8 p.m. Saturday.

Neighboring northern New‌ England states – Vermont, and most of New Hampshire and maine – are under a frost ‌advisory from the National Weather Service for Saturday night.

Beyond the potential for frost, dry weather conditions are expected to continue into Sunday with temperatures climbing into the ‍60s and low 70s. The first⁢ day of fall is September 22nd.
