Typh Barrow Announces New Album, Tour Dates Following Creative Shift
Belgian singer-songwriter Typh Barrow is embarking on a new creative era with the upcoming release of her album in 2025 and a six-city tour kicking off in April. The proclamation marks a departure from Barrow’s previous “Piano/Solitude” approach, embracing external collaborations - notably with Benoît Leclercq of the Delta duo – and a renewed artistic vision.
Barrow, a mother of a two-year-old, intends to surprise audiences while remaining true to her established sound. Promotional photos, signed by Romain Garcin, reflect this desire for emancipation, and a music video for her new single, Close To Me, is currently in production. “Je does not deny anything of what I did but I want to move forward,” Barrow stated, adding, “J’wanted to come back with something that would both surprise people and simultaneously occurring not to lose them in relation to what they already knew about me.“
The tour dates are as follows: April 7 & 8 at the Forum de Liège, April 14 & 15 at the Royal Theater of Mons, and April 21 & 22 at the Cirque Royal in brussels. Further dates are expected to be announced.
