Interpol & Arab Interior Ministers Discuss Morocco Assembly

Arab Interior Council, Interpol discuss ⁤Collaboration Ahead of Morocco Assembly

Tunis, september 18,⁤ 2025 – Mohammad Koman, Secretary General⁤ of the council of Arab Ministers of the Interior, met with Interpol Secretary General Valdecy Urquiza in Tunis today to discuss enhanced bilateral cooperation and preparations for the 93rd ‍Interpol General Assembly,​ slated to be held in Morocco from November 24-27.

the meeting occurred⁢ on​ the margins of the 25th Asian Regional Conference of Interpol,hosted in Singapore on‍ September 18 and ‌19. officials stated that discussions centered on “the growth of institutional cooperation and the activation of ‍the‍ clauses of the bilateral agreement.”

A statement from the ‌Council’s General Secretariat highlighted that the 2022 framework ‌agreement between the two organizations has already spurred several​ joint initiatives. Both parties ​agreed on the need for a coordination meeting to ‌ensure the full implementation of this commitment.

“the themes mentioned will directly ⁢feed the debates provided⁢ for at the ⁢general meeting in Morocco,” officials confirmed, ⁤signaling a focused agenda for the upcoming assembly. The General Assembly will provide a platform for⁣ international law enforcement leaders to address emerging crime trends and strengthen global security networks.
