The news arrives as Hagar prepares to release a live album documenting his earlier, highly triumphant 2025 residency at the same venue.
This return offers fans another opportunity to experience Hagar’s extensive catalog, spanning his work with Van Halen, his solo career, and his time with Montrose. The residency’s continuation underscores the demand for Hagar’s live performances and provides a unique concert experience featuring a star-studded band. Tickets will become available to Live Nation All Access members on Wednesday, September 17th at 10 a.m. PT, with general sales beginning Friday, September 19th at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
Hagar will once again be joined by an all-star lineup including original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff, and multi-instrumentalist Rai thistlethwayte. The setlist is expected to mirror the format of his previous residency, drawing from all phases of his career.
“I can’t tell you how hard it’s been not to leak this proclamation,” Hagar stated in a press release. “I must say those last nine shows were some of the best shows I’ve done in my life. I love this band like no other and can’t wait to do it again. One listen to the live residency record coming out and you will understand this is my idea of retirement!!!! Beats golf any day.”
The upcoming live album, capturing performances from the 2025 residency, is set for release on October 10th. Prior to the Las Vegas shows, Hagar will complete a series of 2025 tour dates, including his “Cabo Wabo Cantina Birthday Bash” shows in October.
