Nubia Launches Air Smartphone with AI features Under €300
Lisbon, Portugal – Nubia today unveiled the Air, a new smartphone focused on content creation and optimized performance, available for under €300. The device boasts a thin, durable design alongside AI-powered camera tools and a streamlined operating system, positioning itself as a competitive option in the budget to mid-range market.
The Nubia Air aims to bridge the gap between affordability and advanced features, especially for users who prioritize mobile content creation. It allows simultaneous use of both cameras and incorporates AI functionalities like Magic Photos, Magic Editor, and Magic Eraser to enhance image editing.Beyond photography, the phone integrates Google Gemini for generative AI tasks, assisting with text creation and research.
Internally, the smartphone is powered by a 6nm octa-core processor, up to 20GB of dynamic RAM (8GB + 12GB), and 256GB of internal storage. Nubia has also implemented AI-driven optimizations,including APP Freeze technology,which suspends infrequently used applications to extend battery life by 20% and reduce power consumption by 25%. Call quality is enhanced by a dual microphone system and Ai Echo Cancelling 3.0 technology.
The Nubia Air will be available in Streamer Black and Titanium Desert, with a configuration of 8GB of RAM (plus 12GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of storage, priced at €299.
