“Love is in the Meadow” Farmers React to first Letters – and the Humor is Flowing
Brussels, Belgium – The hopefuls on RTL-TVI’s Love is in the Meadow have received their first batch of letters from potential suitors, and the reactions are already proving entertaining. Following the show’s premiere introducing this season’s ten farmers, including returning contestant Maria Del Rio, Florent, a farmer from Chimay, was the first to dive into his mailbag.
But it was 26-year-old William, from Villers-la-Ville, who quickly stole the show with his unfiltered commentary. Upon reading a letter from Alizée, a sporty young woman, William quipped, “It’s good she’s sporty. The day she has children, she won’t turn into a barrel!” He continued, playfully exaggerating the realities of parenthood: “They’re all energetic when you take them, then they just sit and eat chips in front of the TV.
