Tulcea Multipurpose Hall Nears Completion, 85% of Work Finished
Construction of teh new Multipurpose Hall in Tulcea, Romania is 85% complete, according too a recent statement from construction firm Erbașu. The arena, funded by the Ministry of Progress, Public works and Administration through the National Investment Company, is slated to become a major sporting and event venue for Tulcea County.
The 120 million lei project, which began on march 31, 2022, will feature a main competition field surrounded by stands capable of seating 4,670 spectators. Additional facilities include an underground training ground, parking, locker rooms, press areas, and a conference room. Erbașu reports the multimedia cube, retractable stands, and lighting/sound systems are fully installed, with chair installation and surface readiness for the sports prosecutor’s office currently underway.
The hall is a project of the Tulcea County Council and is intended to serve as a modern facility for a variety of sports and events, contributing to the region’s infrastructure and future development. Erbașu expressed gratitude to all involved in the project, stating, “We build for the future. In Romania.”
