Teenagers Brutally Assault young Man in Třeboň,Victim in Critical Condition
Třeboň,Czech Republic – A young man is in critical condition after being brutally attacked by a group of teenagers in Třeboň. The assault, which occurred near a local bar, has shocked the community and prompted a police examination.
According to reports, the attackers, believed to be from surrounding municipalities and some as young as 15, randomly targeted the victim, inflicting severe injuries. Witnesses say the group fled the scene, leaving the young man unconscious on the ground.He was later identified by his brother at the hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
Třeboň Mayor Jan Váňa (ODS) stated,”Based on the identification of a hazardous gang,we know that they are not citizens of Třeboň,but have chosen the city as one of their refuge for their crime.” Váňa condemned the attack and expressed hope for severe punishment for those responsible.
Local resident Jana (surname withheld) described the attack as nearly fatal, stating, “The group almost killed the young man. He is still in the hospital and to the best of my knowledge, he is still in bad condition.”
Authorities have confirmed that several of the alleged assailants were already facing legal proceedings for othre crimes, appearing in court in Jindřichův Hradec on Thursday.
Police are currently investigating the incident but have not released further details at this time. One of the suspects had been granted a permitted walk from an institutional education program on the day of the attack.
