Samsung Continues too​ Mock Apple Following iPhone 17 Event

Samsung is relentlessly teasing Apple on⁣ social media following the iPhone 17 presentation on Tuesday evening. The South Korean tech giant launched a series ⁣of pointed posts on X,utilizing the hashtag #icant to highlight features Apple is now ⁤introducing‍ that Samsung has‌ offered for some time.

The campaign began swiftly after Apple’s announcement. Samsung’s first post directly addressed Apple’s new live​ translation feature, stating, “Apple has just announced live translation ‌during ZZZ-Note. Everything we‍ can say is: welcome to the party.”

Further ‌jabs followed, with ⁣Samsung‍ pointing ‌out the lengthy wait for certain features. “People had to⁢ wait five years ⁢for a sleep score on their Apple Watch,” one‌ post read,⁢ while another emphasized the difference in camera technology, stating that ⁤”three 48 megapixel cameras is not the same as 200 megapixels.”

Referencing Past campaigns

Samsung‌ also⁢ revisited a 2022 campaign,resurfacing a post⁢ from⁣ a previous ‍Apple ⁤event that asked,”let us know when it can⁢ fold.” The ​company added to the⁤ throwback,commenting,”I can’t believe that this⁤ is still⁢ relevant.”

The ⁣playful criticism didn’t end with the event. Samsung is currently running⁤ a giveaway, promoted with the message: ⁤”If you have heard yourself say #icant ⁢several times during the ZZZ-Note, then this is for you.”
