FBI releases images of person of interest, announces $100K reward amid manhunt for Charlie Kirk’s killer

FBI Seeks Person of Interest, ⁤offers $100K Reward⁤ in Charlie Kirk Homicide Examination

PHOENIX, AZ – The FBI‌ has ⁤released images of⁣ a person⁢ of interest and announced a ⁣$100,000⁢ reward for information leading too the‍ arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the death of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. The investigation is underway following the ‌attack that occurred December⁤ 22, 2024, ​in Phoenix, Arizona.

The ⁣sudden and violent death of⁤ Kirk,‍ a prominent figure ⁣in ‍conservative circles,‍ has sparked widespread condemnation ⁤across‍ the⁢ political spectrum and ignited a⁣ nationwide manhunt. Authorities‌ are urging⁣ anyone with information regarding the ⁤identity of⁤ the person of ‌interest or the circumstances surrounding ⁢the homicide to come forward. The substantial reward underscores the seriousness with which federal investigators⁣ are treating the case and ‌the commitment⁣ to⁢ bringing the perpetrator to justice.

Both current and former political leaders have ​voiced ⁣outrage and called ⁢for an‌ end to political violence. Former President joe Biden stated, “There is no‌ place in our country for this kind of violence. It must​ end now,” adding that he​ and his⁣ wife,Jill,are “praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and loved ones.”‍

Pennsylvania Governor‌ Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, described the attack as ⁤”horrifying” and warned ‌against the normalization of “this growing ‍type of unconscionable violence.” ⁤California Governor Gavin ‍Newsom echoed those ⁢sentiments, stating on X that the attack was ⁢”revolting, vile, and reprehensible,” and emphasizing the need ‌to “reject political violence in ⁣EVERY form” ‌within the United ⁣States.

The FBI is asking ⁣anyone‌ with information to ‍contact thier local field office or submit tips online. The investigation remains active ⁤and ongoing.
