Shooting Threat Kosciusko High School – Update

Kosciusko High School was⁣ placed on lockdown Thursday morning,September 11,2025,following a ​reported threat of a shooting. local law enforcement responded promptly to the school at ⁣approximately 9:00 ⁤a.m.

Authorities have confirmed no shots were ⁤fired and no injuries were reported. The​ kosciusko School District initiated‌ precautionary lockdown procedures at all KSD schools while police⁢ and Attala County deputies investigated the source ⁣of the threat.

According to a‍ statement released by ⁤the school district,law enforcement was notified immediately upon receiving the called-in threat.
