Kosciusko High School was placed on lockdown Thursday morning,September 11,2025,following a reported threat of a shooting. local law enforcement responded promptly to the school at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Authorities have confirmed no shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The kosciusko School District initiated precautionary lockdown procedures at all KSD schools while police and Attala County deputies investigated the source of the threat.
According to a statement released by the school district,law enforcement was notified immediately upon receiving the called-in threat.
