Black noir Joins​ the Cast of ‘Gen V’‍ Season 2 ‌in ‍New Teaser

A ​new teaser for the upcoming second ‍season of Amazon Prime’s‌ “Gen V” ⁤reveals‍ that Black‌ Noir, a ‍member of The Seven from “The ‍Boys,” will⁢ appear in the series. The clip, released September 9, 2024,‍ follows a previous teaser focusing on the season’s central plot and‌ the return of Starlight.

“Gen V,” a spin-off of the critically acclaimed “The Boys,” is set at Godolkin University, the ​only college exclusively for young superheroes. The show explores the moral compromises thes students face as they ​compete for top ‌rankings ⁤and‌ the opportunity to join The Seven,Vought International’s‌ elite ⁢superhero team. Season ⁤one culminated in a⁤ devastating confrontation revealing a secret prison for supes on ‌campus and a violent⁣ arrival by⁤ Homelander.

Amazon Prime describes⁣ the ⁤series as‌ a⁣ story where, “When⁣ the ​school’s‍ dark secrets come to⁢ light,⁢ they must decide what ​kind of heroes they want to become.” Season two will directly connect⁤ to the fifth and final season‌ of “The Boys,” picking up after Homelander’s ⁣takeover of⁣ the United​ States.The second season‌ of “Gen V” premieres September ⁤17 ‍on Amazon Prime, with weekly⁣ episode⁢ releases.
