NABU Detective’s Father Humiliated in Court – Appeal Delayed

Ukrainian Court Accused of Humiliating Father of NABU Detective‍ Detained on Espionage Charges

Kyiv,Ukraine – The family of Ruslan Magamedrasulov,a National ⁣Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detective ​detained by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on ​suspicion of ties to Russia,has accused the Kyiv‌ Court ⁤of Appeal of inflicting purposeful‌ emotional distress. Maria Magamedrasulova, the detective’s ‌sister, alleges that their 65-year-old father was subjected to a degrading search⁣ at court, forced to undress to his underwear adn examined with⁣ devices.

“Yesterday, before a meeting,⁢ 6-8 people in uniform brought him into a ⁣room and ⁢told him to undress fully, down to his ‌underwear,” Maria Magamedrasulova told Ukrainian Pravda⁢ via the ​CPC telegram channel. “They⁤ then searched ‍him with various devices.
