A journalism student killed in a car crash in Belo Horizonte will be buried at the Bosque da Esperança Cemetery. Brunna,whose last name was not immediately released,died after the vehicle she was traveling in collided with a pole on Avenida nossa Senhora do Carmo early Saturday.
The crash occurred as Brunna was with her boyfriend, 26, and Gustavo de Assis, 36, an image editor for Record Minas.According to a police report, the boyfriend lost control of the car, resulting in a violent impact. Witnesses reported that Brunna was struck by an electric discharge from loose wires after exiting the vehicle. The boyfriendS condition remains unknown. Friends had shared photos of the trio celebrating at a party in the Buritis neighborhood shortly before the accident. the impact ignited a fire, and bystanders assisted in removing the occupants from the wreckage.
